Test Manager for ERP implementation

Assignment Description
The clients Construction Division is embarking on a multi-year program to roll-out the JD Edwards ERP system in several countries. The first roll-out will be in North-America.
The program will consist of several projects with resources from Sweden, North-America and offshore.
The IT competence center for JDE is located in Huskvarna plus offshore resources. The business representatives are mainly located in Jonsered / Gothenborg and North-America.

Role and responsibilities description
In the role Test Manager you will be responsible for leading testing activities on the entire Construction Division - JDE program and report to the Project Managers.
You will be tasked with developing, deploying and maintaining test scripts and cases of all processes covered in the agreed test scope.

Responsibilities include:
• Identify and understand the business process to be covered in the test scope.
• Estimate the testing effort for writing testing plan, test cases, test execution and test reports. Together with the project management setup, the Quality Assurance strategy and the quality metrics identified for the agreed test scope.
• Form a testing team with a mixed group of JDE professionals and business users with the right skill set for each process covered by the test scope.
• Together with the Project Managers designs testing strategies, conduct and/or oversee test activity for the projects, to ensure effective planning.
• Ensures clear and coordinated communications regarding test progress and closure.
• Reports discrepancies, track their lifecycles and provides timely and accurate reports to project and program management.
• Drive and support all test activities related to the end-to-end testing by evaluation and administration, including support for unit, integration, operational and user acceptance testing.
• Performs risk analysis, builds and evaluates quality checkpoints, and ensures consistency and adherence to organizational practices
