Senior Programmer Analyst

Key responsibilities

- Analyzes processing procedures. Develops recommendations for improvements
- Serves as the in-house guide for internal clients experiencing programming problems, consulting on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting the issues. 
- Creates and updates dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst
- Reviews and documents code problems, working with other programmers to correct them
- Evaluates user requests for systems changes or improvements. Registers functional requirements and reviews cost, feasibility and utility. Recommends how, when and whether to make the changes
- Trains and assists end users and other partner groups for a particular application, system or process, on an ongoing basis
- Helps create communication content for certain system changes being implemented in production
- Create and evaluate programming changes for each systems development phase prior to implementation. Log test cases and expected results. Verify that results meet requirements. May plan basic tests or a defined subset of larger tests. May suggest acceptance/rejection when requirements are not met

Requirements

- Demonstrated grasp of programming languages
- Solid understanding of .NET
- Proven knowledge of application development
- Deep understanding of C Sharp Programming (C#)
- Well-founded grasp of Application Deployments
- Application Programming experience
- Programming Experience experience highly desired
- Demonstrated success acting in a project management capacity
- Proficiency in PC and mainframe hardware/software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
- Previous experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements
