Product Development Engineer Level 3

Responsibilities:

•  Provide technical expertise to qualification of primary intravenous container designs and materials at External supply partners
•  Author technical protocols, write reports, analyze data, and review technical documentation to ensure successful product tech transfers for the container systems.
• Partner with Project team, External Suppliers, QA, and Procurement to complete technical assessment of container systems
•  Provide technical support to ensure timely resolution of any identified container issues to ensure a successful tech transfer
•  As necessary, conduct root cause analysis and derive recommendations based on analysis of data
• Ensure component and product specifications requirements are appropriate to ensure product performance
•  Ensure integrity and compliance of data according to Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications:

•  BS (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Packaging Engineering or other related science/engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years technical experience in Pharmaceutical primary container packaging is preferred. Device/Combination products or other pharmaceutical experience is acceptable.

Skills: 

• Technical writing needed, drive testing of containers, write reports, analyze testing data
• team interactions, collaborate with other teams, good communication is needed.
