About the role

Our client is seeking a 'gun' ITSM Technical Operations Lead to be part of their transformation growth journey. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of technical customers' requests and uplift, and re-engineer the current service management and operation processes.

You will have a strong Technical background, be a jack of all IT trades with a strong focus on getting the job done. They need to understand technology, process and how to deal with people. The candidate will also have strong leadership experience and be able to coach and uplift the current Service Management team.

Skills and Experience required:

  • 5+ years in a Technical Service Delivery /Service Management Leadership Role, managing a multisystem environment.
  • Incident and Change Management skills and experience.
  • Strong Technical background in infrastructure, networks, development, or architecture.
  • Strong people leadership and coaching background.
  • Proven success in driving change initiatives across process improvement within Service Management and Technology Operations.
  • Extensive experience in Process Maturity and Team Uplift.
  • Team Leadership and Coaching experience, including, consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence external and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking associated with teams on growth journey.
  • ITIL Framework proficiency and accreditation.

Desirable skills:

  • Manage Engine Ticketing System experience
  • 3rd Party Integration
  • Experience in Collaborative Projects
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
