Developer IV - Chicago, IL

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in software development
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in relational and NoSQL database technologies
• Strong knowledge of C#, .Net Standard/Core
• Expert in C#, .NET development
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design concepts and design patterns

Responsibilities:

• Experience in developing and deploying to AWS or Azure
• Experience in Containers and container orchestration
• Experience in Continuous integration / Test-Driven Development
• Experience with XML/JSON, REST, Node, Angular, SQL and distributed systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong development skills

Qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile team
• Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Knowledge of source control concepts and can commit code to repositories such as Git, SVN, TFS
• Rapid Prototyping Skills with the ability to demonstrate/pitch website design/functionality to a client
• Creating and executing unit tests using established unit test framework
• Proven ability in at least one server-side MVC framework (.NET Core MVC, Node js, Service Fabric, Entity Framework)
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SVG, Web Standards, Progressive Enhancement

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture
• Message queues such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
• Pub/Sub messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, Amazon SNS, Azure Event Grid
• Experience of using Docker to deploy applications
• Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment (e.g. Team City, Octopus)
