Consultant Task – Product Designer, Stockholm (19.10.2022)

For one of our clients we are looking for a sharp Product Designer who will join Product Area Checkout and the Product POS UI in that area.

The Area support all checkout touch points at the company Group for, customers or staff solutions in store. The product POS UI mission is “When checking out in a physical store, it should be frictionless and easy - today & in the future”. POS UI provides a front-end solution for a Point of Sales (POS) in store, which can be used by staff and customers. The company is an empowered product team working agile and team based. With their team-based approach, collaboration and communication are key for success. We use road maps, OKR ’s and take data driven decisions to be sure that we create customer vale.

What you will do:
- For our POS, you will be responsible for all parts of the digital product design process from early exploration, research, ideas generation and concepts, to making sure we test, tweak and update the design we have released. All with the customer experience as our top priority.
- Champion design in projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple launches with significant Product Design responsibility
- Research user behaviors, participate and purpose field research, validate concepts with end users and turn insights into value-adding products and services
- Contribute to visionary work and idea generation
- Visualize and prototype design concepts at varying levels of fidelity, from paper and wireframes to interactive digital prototypes, for mobile apps and web
- Collaborate with Visual Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other stakeholders
- Be the voice and advocate of the customer, constantly up to date with the latest trends, design possibilities and thinking within digital product design
- Balancing the user’s needs with the business goals: deeply caring about solving the right problem for the users but also contributing to the overall product direction and strategy
- Facilitate creative workshops and collaborative sessions with multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop and refine user-centered design processes and best practices

Functional Knowledge:
Individual designers may not possess all skills below but should demonstrate deep expertise in 2 or more areas:
- User Zoom (User Testing)
- Figma
- Touchpoint knowledge: Android, Web (Desktop + Mobile)
- Similar tools: Framer X, invision, Zepelin, Protopie, Adobe XD

Start: ASAP 
Duration: 12 months + the possibility for extension

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:
- +5 years of experience with delivering great Product Design 
- Passionate about understanding the user’s  needs, motivations, behaviours
- Touchpoint knowledge: Android, Web(Desktop + Mobile)
