Consultant Task – IT security consultant, Remote (27.10.2021)

For a Danish SAAS company we are looking for a Hands on Security consultant who will have the responsibility for the day-to-day operation of information security controls. The consultant will also lead the evaluation, implementation, management, and monitoring of numerous systems and processes. 

The role will suit someone who enjoys being in technical detail, but also has excellent written and verbal communication skills to persuade and lead initiatives effectively. 

The ideal candidate have a Computer science related degree and possesses the following certifications: CISSP, CISM & ITIL. 

The candidate should be familiar with using risk-based methodology to prioritize work and efforts. They should also have demonstrable skills in a diverse set of cyber security control tools such as the ones listed below.


Need to have: 
Ability to work in a tight-knit technology team in a commercial environment. A good command of spoken and written English is essential as the company has many international partners and clients.

Ability to communicate both technical and business risks clearly.

Practical hands on configuration and daily management of tools such as:
- Vulnerability management tools
- Anti-virus
- End-point protection
- CASB
- IAM technologies such as MFA, SSO
- SIEM tools
- Firewalls
- IPS
- WAF and reverse proxies
- GCP and Azure administration
- Collaboration and ticketing tools such as Jira, Confluence
- Understanding of IT service management, such as SLA and dealing with issues and problems

Nice to have:

Broad understanding of:
- ISO27001
- SOC2
- Fedramp
- GDPR
- Third party assurance
- SDLC and SDLC tools, such as SAST, DAST

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:
- +5 years of experience with IT security and related tools
- Great English communication skills
- Compliance understanding and/or experience
