Recruiting for Melbourne's construction industry leader, We seeks an experienced Level 2 Service Desk Technician. Located in the CBD with projects all over the Melbourne Metro area, there will be chances for career and technical growth with this organization. The Role

A strong focus on customer service and "soft skills" is necessary to successfully resolve issues across a diverse and geographically spaced workforce. The Service Desk Technician is the first point of contact for staff to receive support and maintenance of the IT Infrastructure, including phone systems and Audio-Visual equipment. This includes installing, diagnosing, maintaining and upgrading desktop hardware, phones, and ICT peripherals to ensure optimal workstation performance.

Working as part of the IT Services Team there will be a need to respond to issues in person, by phone or through remote access. A range of tasks that relate to the administration and settings of production systems, including Exchange, Mobile Device Management, email archiving and Group Policies with all need to be addressed. There is a chance for on-going work for the right candidate.

 

Your Skills & Experience

  • 2 year's experience as a Level 2 Service Desk Technician
  • Excellent communication skills
  • ITIL Foundation alongside working experience
  • O365
  • Mail Exchange
  • AD
  • LAN, WAN, VLAN
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Remote Access
  • Some basic firewall and network security experience
