Role and Responsibilities:
This role will see the successful candidate be responsible for interpreting European and Irish guidelines and regulations for PSD2.
What’s involved:
- Engaging at executive level within a government agency, act as the liaison between the Management team and the Development team.
- Accountable for project milestones and deliverables
- Have to report progress at weekly executive meetings
- Successful deliver the development project on time and within budget.
- Managing a diverse team of client’s employees, contract staff and third part employees.
- Manage teams that are geographically diverse
What you need:
- Payments regulatory knowledge (including PSD2 and Payments Services Regulation) achieved through a compliance or strategic role in the banking sector
- A practical understanding of the Irish regulatory landscape and the problems it poses for financial institutions including structural and technological advancements required to handle incoming regulation
- Ability to identify key risks the bank faces ahead of regulatory changes.
- Commercial banking product knowledge spanning products (including transaction banking products and services) affected by the PSD2 and other regulatory regimes.
- Highly effective relationship management skills, with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
