Professional SAP Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading systems requirements delivery for initiatives covering SAP ECC ( FI, CO, OTC, P2P) & SAP BW, web, back office, data warehouse, reporting, business intelligence and analytics platforms. He or She will have to work closely with Project Management, Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Production Support and executives across various Business units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead cross-functional teams to lead facilitation, Elicitation and Development of System requirements for SAP Order to Cash, back office systems, data warehouse, reporting, and analytics platforms to support various Business units
  •  Work across the Business organizations including teams responsible for products, fulfillment, customer service, finance & sales; also with IT on project and program management, solution architecture, design and development, quality assurance and production support
  •  Develop and implement mentoring, training, coaching, performance feedback, regular evaluation for associates of the requirements team members
  • Demonstrated 1 year of development and implemented mentoring, training, coaching, performance feedback, regular evaluation for associates of the requirements team members strongly preferred
  •  Lead and manage continuous improvement planning deliverables
  •  Ensure that solutions are being delivered are per standards of availability, scalability and security point of view and that are done on time with highest quality
  •  Ensure that standards and guidelines are created for all aspects of systems requirements
  •  Ensure that all delivery artifacts are reviewed and are according to the standards and guidelines for the systems being supported (SAP ECC SAP BW, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com)
  • Provide support and maintenance for the services being offered to the business and the environments in which they are offered
  • Ensure that SLAs are being met for services with the design development teams, vendors and project teams responsible for execution (development, implementation, transformation, and maintenance).
  • Work with hardware, software and services vendors
  • Provide strong and deep technical insights in various disciplines across delivery
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes and best practices
  • Establish and maintain competence in current and planned versions of products
  • Understand the use of industry tools / technology & their impact on project & operational goals
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives by working across technical teams to enhance the systems, processes and controls to ensure effective development, monitoring, and support is in place
  • Represent client within the industry by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of client products, industry trends and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiative. Communicate clients competitive advantage to customers in a compelling articulate manner in speech, writing and formal presentation.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in in related field, and relevant experience working within Information Technology verticals

Preferred: Master's Degree or MBA

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3+ years broad Information Technology experience in:
  •  Experience in working with Enterprise Architecture, Project and Program Management, Systems Design and Delivery, Quality Assurance, Production Support and Infrastructure
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
  •  Demonstrated experience in taking the high level enterprise strategy and blueprints and converting into system level deliverables for delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering requirements for SAP OTC, Web Based, Back office systems, Business Intelligence (Data Warehousing), Experience with Business Intelligence Reports strongly preferred
  •  Demonstrated experience in Use Case Development of the business needs and requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in working with various IT and Business partners to deliver on the requirements and solution.
  • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills and experience
  • Demonstrated 3 year of development and implemented mentoring, training, coaching, performance feedback, regular evaluation for associates of the requirements team members strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management and planning skills and experience
  • Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology and procedures
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
  • Demonstrated experience in working with various geographically diverse associates and vendor partners including on and off shore
  • Demonstrated budget management, tracking and forecasting skills and experience for team management
  • Demonstrated on-time and on-budget system delivery skills and experience for all projects
  •  Demonstrated knowledge of systems and application technologies and architecture (such as SAP ECC, SAP OTC, SAP BW, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing).
  • Travel required for this position up to 25%
