.Net User Interface Web Developer

Our Automation Toolset application is a web-based suite of IT-centric tools running within an IIS Environment. It has recently been redeveloped using Visual Studio 2019 and leverages Microsoft's .NET Framework. The demand for modifications and enhancements continues to grow at a rapid pace. As the UI lead on the application, you will be responsible for leading any UI/UX changes and recommendations, essentially modernizing our existing ASP.NET application utilizing modern CSS3 and HTML5 best practices.  

Responsibilities:

• Utilization of Visual Studio current versions
• Developing a user interface for our IT technical staff focusing on the technical user's experience
• Within the development, focusing upon a simple and yet effective presentation allowing the technical users to traverse pages with a minimum number of clicks quickly
• Logically organizing each web page to optimize technical user efficiency while assisting business users
• Presenting significant data to the technical user while minimizing the need to scroll through many pages
• Building and executing test models
• Webpage development using secure and sustainable methodologies and practices
• Troubleshooting and debugging the toolset
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Working with all relevant stakeholders to design and plan future enhancements
• Demonstrate expertise is presenting solutions in a timely and effective manner

Requirements:

• Experience developing web pages based wholly upon HTML5 and CSS3 within an ASP.NET Framework
• Rewrite and optimize HTML and CSS code within and .NET Web application
• Provide UI/UX expertise to a web application by modernizing and redeveloping the user interface while prioritizing the end-user experience
• Ability to write clean and structured HTML, CSS, JS from scratch in Visual Studio, using ASP.NET (.NET Framework), and following best-practice methodologies. We are looking for someone with Senior level knowledge, and we are not looking to plug UI libraries as this needs to be very fast and lightweight.
• UI testing to ensure code loads fast and reliably
• Knowledge of integrating tools into applications like Active Directory (On-premise and Azure), Okta, Amazon Web Services, and use of other API and Web Services.
• Experience building web applications in an enterprise level environment. Our team utilizes Visual Studio, Github, Slack, Asana, and Workfront for project collaboration. Visual Studio and GIT knowledge are critical.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
