IT Lead for Warehouse management system project

We are looking for a consultant for the role of IT Lead in the client warehouse management system project. The IT Lead will work as part of the project team building a new, green field, modern factory.

We are looking for a senior specialist with relevant experience in Warehouse management systems, other industrial systems, and challenging projects. As the customer is simultaneously taking SAP S4 into use, experience with SAP S4 is required. In this role, the IT Lead will need to understand business needs and reflect them with SAP, EA, and other system requirements, and work on how to get a warehouse management system as part of Enterprise architecture. Experience in 3PL operation, yard management, and automatic warehouse solutions would be helpful.

Work can be done mainly remotely but requires on-site attendance in the greater Helsinki area approximately once per week.

 

Requirements:
Ideally, the candidate has experience in as many areas as possible from the following:
- Previous experience in warehouse management systems/projects
- SAP S4 experience
- Experience with enterprise architecture
- Beneficial: 3PL, yard management, and automation experience

Location: Helsinki (approx. 1 day per week onsite required)
