Assignment Details

In this role you will:

  • Establish and configure the required infrastructure (Virtual Environment) for building a new enterprise instance of GitLab for the Data Exchange (DEX) Analytics project
  • System integration with but not limited to: o RStudio Server Pro o RStudio Connect o SAS suite of products o Python IDE (TBD possibly PyCharm or Anaconda) o Visual Studio o IBM Data Architect
  • Establish basic GitLab Continuous Improvement (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and provide best practice CI/CD advice.
  • Maintenance and administration of the system including handover documentation.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience with Linux system administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within standard governance frameworks including change management.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting GitLab in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building strong working relationships with dependent business areas and other technical areas.
