Seasoned Java Developer

A customer is looking for a Seasoned Java Developer.

The end client is working with high end technology areas such as cloud computing, container based environments, real-time, large-scale distributed systems and security. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, testing and maintaining software solutions for 5G networks.

As a senior developer you are confident about your technical skills and you are ready to tackle challenges with your teammates on virtualized network functions and cloud technologies.

You will sit within the customer premises, where the team is also located. The team works in agile principles.

Required skills:
• 5+ years of hands on software development experience
• Excellent programming skills in Java EE, SQL as well as NoSQL database technologies
• Experience with Linux
• Application development on JBOSS
• WebServices with REST, SOAP, JSON and XML documents

Preferred skills:
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax
• Experience in Vaadin
• Experience in Orchestration tools (Openshift, Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker) and cloud based environments / deployments

This is potentially extremely long contract, so we are looking for consultant who would be willing to engage for longer term. Please note that the work requires 100% on-site presence in Kirkkonummi. Also interviews will be onsite at Kirkkonummi, so consultants should already live in Finland. Working language is English.
