About the Role

  • To support our continued organizational growth, we are currently seeking a Projects and IT Policy Officer to join our innovative, passionate team.
  • The Projects and IT Policy Officer is accountable for coordinating the development and implementation of high quality, professional and effective policies, procedures and frameworks relating to project management and IT, to meet across government compliance requirements and to promote good practice within the LSA.
  • The role is also responsible for conducting information asset classification assessments and risk assessments of cloud-based systems, to ensure the LSA maintains a secure ICT environment.

About You

  • We are looking for Project focused IT Policy professional who can utilize their existing experience in developing, writing and implementing policies to support the adoption and implementation of policy changes within the LSA.
  • You will demonstrate proven experience working in a complex and sensitive IT/project delivery environment. You will also have a general knowledge of relevant public administration policies, Government, Legislative and/or Parliamentary processes. We are looking for candidates who have a well-developed knowledge of contemporary risk management and can also demonstrate a good understanding of cyber security issues from an organizational perspective.
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science, or significant equivalent business experience is essential. You must also hold an industry certification in Project Management, or significant equivalent project experience.
