IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and best practices applied to technology. With advanced knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, PlanView, Excel, etc. Strong knowledge of resource management and allocation.
- Strong Project Management competencies and understanding of how to apply PM processes for pragmatic approach to project management
- Strong deployment background and understand of how to best plan and execute technology based projects
- Strong operational and financial acumen (driving best value through projects).
- Strong understanding of business analysis, change management and performance improvement concepts.
- The successful candidate will be self-confident, results-oriented, persuasive and influential. Ability to present and communicate successfully at leadership meetings which require excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
 

Experience
- 10+ years of proven experience in Project Management including planning, organizing, monitoring and leading complex projects in an infrastructure technology focus
- Experience in infrastructure domains including network; server, cloud, PC, print, voice, A/V, security.
- Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise way, ensuring the organization makes rapid and informed decisions.
- Talented facilitator who skillfully leads strategy creation and planning discussions.
- Self-driven leader who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results.
- Demonstrate and Educate as a Deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management process and tools.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and provide necessary structure for projects
- Experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities.
- Ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix organizational environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Skype and SharePoint.
 

Education
- Bachelor degree in liberal arts, technology, business administration, finance, engineering, or related fields. Advanced degree a plus.
 

Licenses/Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred
