Assignment Details

For our client in cybersecurity, we are looking for a skilled Head of Internal IT to join their dynamic company in Copenhagen. Onsite presence is an important part of this role.

As the Head of Internal IT, your role will encompass comprehensive oversight of all aspects of our IT function, spanning from daily service desk operations and internal IT operations to the formulation of long-term technology strategies. You will be a key part of a small IT team in Denmark and foresee as well as take a leading role of a remote team.

 

Responsibilities:

- Service Desk Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our internal IT services, including helpdesk operations, to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

- Service Delivery: Ensure timely and effective delivery of IT services and support to internal stakeholders, addressing technical issues, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party solutions to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively to support current operations and strategic initiatives while optimizing costs. Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to IT projects, ensuring effective communication, training, and support for employees as new technologies and processes are implemented.

• Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of IT operations and initiatives, presenting reports to the executive team.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Progressive experience in IT management, with a track record of successfully leading operational teams and strategic initiatives.

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and cybersecurity best practices
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
