Backend developer role at a scale-up where the development is closely tied to the companies AWS architecture. Maintained and developed Java REST API services and performed Big Data transformations using Apache Spark in EMR used by said APIs.
Managed ECS cluster and migrated service stacks to upgraded environments. I migrated the company's AWS IAM from being managed in the console to using CDK in a repository, also moved all the permissions to groups instead of being applied directly to the users.
