Have been working as a Project Manager and Advisor for a Global technology leader for the marine and energy markets in various SAP related projects.
- SAP ECC transformation project enabled the new financial performance framework by designing and implementing a new SAP Financial Model that reflected customer's current global organisation before moving to SAP S/4HANA. Project and program started with system preparation and configuration, following definition of the Transformation Concept. Later several integration and user validation tests were run, incl. final dress rehearsals prior cutover weekend. SAP data (FI, PCA, COPA) was selectively transformed using cbs ET Transformer tool, global reports and related datasets were enhanced (Informatica ETL, QlikView, Power BI).
- The new engineering solution supports the transformation from cable engineering and installation to a digital workflow, where different departments and customer delivery projects share the same data and platform for co-operation. The project delivered a phased roadmap proposal towards a integrated, harmonized solution landscape as well as delivered a gap analysis, the proposal for the integration architecture based on the group standards, securing delivery of required enhancements from the vendor based on the agreed roadmap. The enhanced solution was delivered for 3 engineering departments. The updated business case and cost estimates for the roadmap were also introduced. Solution landscape included Aucotec Engineering Base, e-Plan, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, M-Files and various middleware solutions.
- As customer's BoM decided to sharpen the credit limit concept to prevent credit limit overruns and unapproved excess risk taking, the project delivered credit limit hard stop instead of warning message in the solutions in the scope (SAP SD,
SAP Fiori, Salesforce, Power BI) to prevent overruns. The project revisited exposure calculation to ensure relevance, specified and delivered support for exceptions when the credit limit is full, specified business areas that are relevant for credit limits and restated Credit Control Policy accordingly. A common customer credit review process were introduced. To be closed by end of March 2023.
