- Raunow Consulting offers Business Intelligence services aimed at improving the stakeholders' business operations. To this end, my role as a Business Intelligence Consultant involves the identification and assessment of existing problems as well as the design, implementation and delivery of appropriate solutions.
- The clients that I have worked for span a multitude of areas such as: debt collection, financing, video streaming, real estate, IT infrastructure and banking.
- One of the clients that I have interacted with directly is a debt collection organization for which I was engaged in several projects briefly presented here: creating a solution for connecting to an API endpoint to collect and store scoring data; designing and implementing of a SSIS solution for the integration of scoring data as well as creating and maintaining a common platform for data scattered across different servers. All of these projects implied end-to-end delivery: gathering requirements, design and implementation, testing, security, performance optimization, documentation and project handover.
- For this particular customer, I was involved in several other smaller tasks, including creating presentation layer views and persisting them, SQLDBM modelling via layers (from Data Lake to Data Mart), implementing delta loads, transferring of data via ADF, setting up event-triggered scaling of SQL Pools, examining existing Databricks scripts for updating existing data with data in the Data Lake.

- Another client I have worked for is a revenue-based financing service for growing ecommerce businesses. They required a data pipeline for handling large volumes of data in AWS. To this end, I have delivered an AWS Glue integration workflow which ingests raw" JSON" data from an AWS S3 bucket, further transforms it and finally loads it into an Amazon RDS database instance (for SQL Server).
Technological highlights: AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, AWS S3 bucket, AWS RDS, Amazon IAM, Amazon Athena.
- A third client we have provided services to is a video streaming platform/organization.
- They wanted a complete analysis of their data. This implied building a data warehouse as well as the delivery of Power BI reports to for data analysis and visualization. I was Involved in setting up the Azure SQL database to host the customer data, as well as creating and maintaining the Azure Data Factory pipelines that executed the daily load of the source data into the Azure database. Some of the other tasks I was responsible for were: creating views that constitute the analysis tables, setting up scheduled runs of stored procedures, creating some of the Power BI reports as well as writing documentation and creating a high-level drawing of the workflow.

- For the IT infrastructure customer, I handled the modification of their existing SSIS solution, as well as the creation of stored procedures to handle historical data loads (SCD type 2) and documenting their ETL workflow.

- Another customer that I have worked for requested the delivery of various Power BI reports. My tasks included: creating different types of visualizations, producing new measures and calculated columns, writing DAX and M-language queries, the design of appropriate database views to be used as Power BI data sources.

- Other assignments in which I was involved include: creating lineage drawings for documenting the existing client architecture in Microsoft Visio, SQL optimization, static to dynamic and performance tuning, assessment and documentation of existing stored procedures for data retention.

(1 year and 7 months) Accobat A/S is a Danish consulting house specializing in Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management. In my role as Business Intelligence Consultant, I had several job responsibilities and tasks, among which:
- Data warehouse development and maintenance, including requirements gathering, implementation, test and support.
- Design, development and optimization of Microsoft data integration and workflow applications.
- Optimization and modification of existing SSIS packages and stored procedures.
- Migration of legacy data-warehousing projects to Microsoft Azure.
- Development and implementation of a BIaaS (Business Intelligence as a Service) Azure solution.
- Delivery of interactive Power BI dashboards defining KPIs according to customer requirements.
- Implementation of a predictive ML model to assess the probability of acquiring membership to a club.
