Tero is an experienced developer with more than 20 years of experience. His main competence is within PHP and HTML/CSS. He has mostly worked in frontend development although he has some experience from backend development too. Tero also has excellent communication skills, and he enjoys working with different people.
With clients Tero has proven to be a solution driven professional that prides himself in problem solving matters. He values good collaboration and dialogue with both the team and the client.
As a project manager, Tero can incorporate his technical skills with his people skills which allows him to fluently communicate with people whether they are tech or non-tech people. Adding his vast knowledge on agile methodologies and know-how on documentation makes him an all-rounded project manager. He is most interested in working as a project manager on projects with customers that are upgrading their services, being it by integrating from one platform to another or simply by just bringing their services up to date.
As a developer, Tero always wants to make sure the code or the project he is working on, offers security. He approaches matters with a security first-mindset. He feels strongly that no developer should ever rush with the code because that could leave vulnerabilities behind, and no company can risk that.
As a person, Tero is positive and social. He takes responsibility and is happy to help his colleagues solve obstacles and problems that may arise – he really values being a good team player.

Guia is about travelling and connecting with people on those travels. It offers an angle to travelers that hasn’t been utilized until now. Tero works as a developer, architect and project manager. He was the only technical person, and it has given him possibilities to study and learn new areas like AWS which were new to him prior to this project. This project harnessed Tero’s skills as a project manager when he kept the non-technical customer in loop with every aspect including sometimes very technical specifics.

Suomi Store is Tero’s personal project. It is a business directory for Finnish companies. It relies heavily on geolocation and gives the visitors a chance to see what businesses are close to them. Companies can add themselves to Suomi Store for free or they can purchase a package that gives them more visibility. Suomi Store released its Alpha version in May 2022, entering Beta during summer 2022. Tero utilized his knowledge from concept planning to server infra and programming while keeping it all together with Kanban.

Contract work as Tech Product Owner with two development teams overseas. In charge of overseeing the development of different products in e-learning area in Sweden.

Beta test plan creation which included 500 beta testers around the world. Making sure while beta testers provided feedback those would be filed up, prioritized and presented to the overseas development team I was responsible for. Multitasking roles from Project Manager to also Scrum Master and Agile Coach. Beta test concluded and the application will be released later on 2023 in both Google Play and App Store.
