professional. My goal is to help people and software teams
improve and achieve great results. Effective teams are key to
thriving people, successful companies, and happy customers.

People come first in my world. The rest comes as the result of
enabled and supported people working together towards
meaningful goals. Business is nothing but the people and nothing
without the people. It makes sense to me to approach work
through the values, practices, and tools of agile, lean, and DevOps.

Having a strong technical background from both academia and my
early days as developer improves my ability to support

Recruited and grew a team of tech recruiters, formed and headed the Engineering Talent team and formed a process to find, attract and hire top technical talent.
Headed organising Smartly's flagship developer event, DevTalks, arranging speakers from across the world to audiences of over a hundred guests. The purpose of DevTalks is to give own team easy access to new ideas and to build the employer brand of Smartly. Took care of running the office, helped the US HR team with Finnish practices, improved back-office processes, and supported customers and end users.

My role changed to heading the whole Flowdock development team and the Rally Helsinki office. Collaborated with the teams and leadership at Rally Software headquarters in the United States. Guided the Flowdock team through turbulent times until the Helsinki office was shut down following Rally Software's acquisition.

Headed a team offering software development and supply chain management consulting for Nokia. For the last year at CGI worked as a Service Manager responsible for the production of a Finnish government-wide service unifying financial and HR systems.

Member of several multimedia research projects at the Nokia Research Center.
