Senior Business Analyst - 12 Month Contract

A large government sector is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to enhance business systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities

Key challenges

• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to extract, document and track business requirements across Processes, Systems, Reporting and Integrations.
• Ability to manage multi-vendor engagement model in obtaining required services
• Great understanding of geospatial system (EsRI ArcGIS Platform) and take ownership in leading mini-plans to delivery key business outcomes
• Support BAU teams where necessary whilst managing project priorities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in eliciting business requirements, business analysis, development of process flows and, capture as-is and To-be state of systems and ensure quality documentations are delivered
• Continually adapt to business requirements and demand, enabling the business to meet its objectives.
• Contribute to the communication of new services to the business.
• Assess new concepts against current systems and procedures, analyse stakeholder needs and system requirements from an end-to-end perspective, engage internal and external clients through various facilitation techniques and mediums and provide high-quality, fit for purpose service design artefacts including requirements, functional specifications, business support process models
• Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences
• Collaborate and effectively communicate with impacted key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solutions
• Guide and support team members to provide customer-focussed services within Agile and Waterfall methodologies
