Java Architect Expert - (Remote)

For a strong international partner, and an end customer in the European public sector, we are looking for a senior java architect with around 10 years of technical consulting experience in the last 15 years for a project consisting of an architecture service designing activities of software architectures, proof of concept, technical advice to developers, etc.

The candidate will work in a team of architects of about 10-20 people and, although there is a reference schedule, it will be flexibility.

Tasks:

• Solution Architect in Java technology, with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications that will be responsible for the design and architecture of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems with guarantees of high availability and fault tolerance. He/she must contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensure designs are in compliance with specifications and support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting this for architectural review.
• Provision of advice and assistance in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance, deployment, hosting, and effective use of information systems and their environments.
• Provision of security technical consultancy, security assessments, or other security matters associated with information system projects.
• Technical risk analysis.
• Provision of technical consultancy, technical expertise, and technical evaluations in relation to information systems.

Location: Remote (or, if the candidate prefers, Alicante).
Full or part-time: Full-time.

Estimated duration: Until the end of the year with probable extension through 2023.
Language: English medium-high. Spanish desirable.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of information systems.
• Proven knowledge in IT consulting.
• Strong capacity in preparing and writing technical consultancy.
• Proficient communication skills in a multilingual environment.
• Capable of working in an international/ multicultural environment.
• Proven ability to speak, write and read fluently in English (C1)
