DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a consultant for the role of a DevOps Engineer. In this role, the consultant has the chance to join development of a business-critical measurement control platform for the customer operating in the field of surface testing. This is a great international project opportunity to work on a software for complex measurement devices. The client has been creating a software application with their own team and lead for some time. Additional help is now looked for. Project is on critical timeline. Emphasis is on applying healthy and continuously improving agile process and deliver unquestioned quality.

Client is looking for someone capable of leading and driving the development of the Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and with existing experience in deploying .NET applications. Good skills in windows development and environment, Linux is optional. The software is being developed with .Net Core, C# and Blazor framework.  To succeed in here you need a strong technical skillset, problem solving and proactive mindset and good communication skills.

Work can be delivered mostly remotely but a visit at the customer in Stuttgart area expected in the beginning. 
 

Requirements:
Ideally, the candidate has experience in as many areas as possible from the following:
- Should be able to drive the DevOps process and its implementation independently
- Experience on DevOps architecture 
- Has experience in Jenkins based CI pipeline and its automation
- Has experience in C#, .Net: programming, project building and configuring
- Optional: Linux DevOps (CI pipeline for Yokto Linux)  
- Should have Worked with GIT
- Infrastructure: C#, :Net Code Obfuscation (using tools like .NET reactor tool), Licensing using external platforms like Sentinel
- .NET build tool chan experience(MS Build, Visual Studio)
- Windows development (Windows Services) and scripting (Powershell, batch)
- Ideally, 8+ years of overall experience

 

Rate: 80 – 90€, depending on experience
Location: Remote (Client is located near Stuttgart but consultant can work wherever in the EU)
