Assignment Details

We are looking for an algorithm developer to work for a client in the medical field. This position requires knowledge and experience of PID algorithms to process the given data from the source. This involves signal processing from certain devices, and the challenge is to work with the code that can make this happen. Job is in Helsinki and working happens in a laboratory environment. Previous experience working in the medical field is not required but is an advantage when applying for this position. If you happen to have additionally a degree in physics, applied physics, or a related science or engineering subject, this position would fit you perfectly.

Your qualifications

- Several years of experience with algorithm development (PID)
- Experience in SW development, and particularly with C/C++ language
- Sound knowledge of discrete signal processing
- Knowledge of embedded controllers
- Knowledge of medical devices, ideally respiratory devices and physiological measurements
- Pragmatic: can turn theoretical concepts into concrete and actionable items, understands limitations of the environment, and have the ability to draw conclusions
- Innovative: generates ideas
- Self-driven: high level of self-organization, ownership, and accountability
- Good communication skills and level of English.
