Experiencia profesional

Software Architect
Prisjakt

2020-04 - 2024-01

In my role as a Software Architect, I developed a new platform with a focus on dataintensive applications and services tailored for business-to-business clients. One of my primary focuses was on optimizing scalability and performance to guarantee swift APIs for all users, while carefully maintaining the right balance of API ergonomics.
Additionally, I contributed to enhancing e-commerce functionality through click and conversion tracking, shedding light on the monetary value of the products we oìered.
In the past year, I transitioned into product management, speciícally overseeing click and revenue tracking. Throughout this shift, I maintained an active role in shaping the architecture and contributing to code development.

Software Tech Lead
IKEA (Ingka)

2018-08 - 2020-04

Crafted shopping-related products, speciícally the cart and digital shopping list, within a micro-service-oriented architecture for the IKEA website (ikea.com, etc.). As a part of a compact, autonomous team, I played a pivotal role in developing IKEA's írst customer-facing GraphQL APIs. The project was an enjoyable endeavor but also challenging - striking a balance between designing a well-crafted API and ensuring optimal performance to handle substantial data loads.

Software Tech Lead
Sony Mobile Communications

2015-09 - 2018-08

I served as the Technical Lead for a real-time locating system (RTLS) project centered around Bluetooth technology. Our approach involved gathering signal strengths from beacons detected by compact Linux devices plugged into power sockets. Leveraging trilateration, we achieved a commendable position accuracy of approximately 2-3 meters. With a team of 3-4 engineers and a small sales group, we adopted a startup mindset, testing assumptions on a micro selection of customers to iterate quickly and fail fast. This approach allowed us to develop a commercially accepted product and bring a technical solution to market within a couple of years. Our software architecture was microservices-based, enabling deployment on both cloud service platforms (AWS) and locally on-premise. Our technology and programming language choices were tailored to the speciíc tasks at hand, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Senior Software Architect
Sony Mobile Communications

2014-04 - 2015-09

As a software architect at Sony Mobile/Sony Ericsson, I worked on ensuring software quality and shaping the technical roadmap for imaging Android apps. Leading a team of 12-14 engineers, we developed an imaging gallery app, called Album, from scratch that became our most signiícant success. The app received positive feedback from critics and became one of the most popular apps on our devices.

Software Developer
Sony Mobile Communications

2008-01 - 2010-11

I contributed to the development of native applications on the OSE and Android platforms, speciícally for mobile phones and tablets. On the OSE platform, my focus included messaging apps like MMS editor and conversations. On the Android side, I took charge of crafting the camera and gallery (album) applications for Sony Ericsson's inaugural Android phones.

Software Developer
Accenture

2007-02 - 2008-01

Accenture The primary focus was on a single customer, and the software stack was built on the .NET framework (C#). Upon joining the project, I encountered a live application that had been operational for a couple of years but was grappling with suboptimal design decisions and numerous production issues. My responsibilities centered around maintenance tasks, predominantly bug íxing. Through diligent eìorts, we successfully addressed the application's shortcomings, gradually resolving issues and ultimately achieving stability for the product.

Software Test Engineer
Saab Denmark

2005-11 - 2007-01

The scope of responsibilities for this job was diverse, encompassing various tasks depending on the ongoing project needs. My role involved active participation in tests, code reviews, automated module testing, product demonstrations, and coding for test tools. Notably, I contributed to the development of an application designed to back up and restore multiple databases within a network. This tool facilitated swift analysis of current snapshots and allowed for the reset of the system to its present state. The projects I worked on were within the command and control (C2) domain, speciícally for the Danish national defense. This experience provided a unique and valuable perspective on working with systems crucial for national security and defense operations.
