I was assigned to the internal "Continuous Improvement team" starting with a 5-month
length project in Bratislava as a technical consultant to first analyze and then customize their
systems and business needs the suite of tools used in Spain. Back to Spain I became the technical responsible of a new global initiative with stakeholders all over the world. We worked
closely with stakeholders and clients, understanding their needs, analyzing and integrating
different sources of data, gathering functional specifications, providing estimations and prioritizing, supervising the build & test and finally providing custom support to our clients. At
any moment I was the liaison contact for any type of question or issue, technical or functional
coming from the team or from any stakeholder. As happened with the previous projects the role also included the technical ownership of the developing environment and databases
focusing overall in performance and usability improvements. In most of the projects the environment was a semi-agile Scrum one combining user stories, one month sprints and 2-3
meetings longer than usual a week, focusing on milestones, new requirements, changes of priority with regular waterfall SDLC features like classical documentation and status reports.
