Assignment Details

For our client we are looking for an IT Onsite Support 

Specialist. Areas of Responsibility: 
- Onsite IT Support 
- Incident Management 
- Request Management 
- Knowledge Management 
- PC / laptop / mobile devices management including set up, maintain and troubleshoot PC hardware and PC software - Application Support 
- Introduce and train users - Purchase of IT equipment / consumables 
- Participate in local and global IT projects 

Scope of Responsibility:

Results / Objectives to be Accomplished: 
- Ensure that our client has satisfied end-users 
- Good and well managed Incident and Service Request handling 
- Ensure updated and relevant knowledge articles 
- Ensure client PCs are working regularly without interruption 
- Timely communication and easy to understand for end-users 
- Strictly implement Group & Local IT Policies 
- Ensure software licenses compliance - Strictly protect IT systems and data 

Tasks: 
- Register all Incidents, Service Requests and other tickets in the ServiceDesk tool 
- Manage Incidents until it is resolved and the end-user has confirmed 
- Handle Service Requests for new PC’s, Mobile devices, and other end-user IT equipment 
- Install and configure PCs 
- Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining. 
- Maintain assets list and correspondent physical assets for IT related hardware and software held under the company 
- Ensure license compliance 
- Provide end-user support for all agreed applications 
- Ensure that IT procedures are being followed - Maintain knowledge database with relevant articles/documentation. 
- Ensure adherence to Group / Local IT and security policies regarding such standards. 
- Adhere to Group frame agreements and standards, e.g., regarding PCs, printers and software purchases 
- Provide required IT related hardware and software training for end-users Skills / 

Competencies: 
- Service-oriented, able to multitask, self-driven, proactive, good communication skills with non-IT people and self-learning spirit, team player - Excellent English skills in reading, writing and speaking, able to communicate with foreign colleagues 
- Support experience with Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10, Office365, in local language and in English 
- Knowledge with network troubleshooting 

Training & Experience: 
- 2 years’ experience 
- Experience with IT support
