Fullstack Senior Software Developer for a Global Company

The client is looking for a developer to support the success of a new product by developing innovative software, create and execute designs in accordance to standards. Leading robust and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose. The company is a global ticketing company, having its HQ in Australia. The position is based out of Stockholm, but will require at least one trip to Australia. Please note that this position is a hire purchase. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Develop, design, code and test software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, work process, investigating problems areas and following the company's software development life cycle.
• Develop features across multiple systems within xx applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.   
• Define, understand and breakdown customer requirements as part of Agile planning process.  Provide engineering support when building, deploying, configuring, testing and supporting systems for customers
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and effective solution strategy and make improvements.
• Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.  Work with development team leads to established priority of new design and issue resolution.
• Define, understand and breakdown the customer’s requirements as part of the Agile planning process.
• Implement peer-reviewed software, focusing on re-use, object-oriented design and unit testing.
• Develop automated unit tests for all implemented software and Identify risks and resolve issues during the project life cycle.
• Ensure the quality and maintainability of software and related work products
• Ensure software projects meet deadline and aligned with xx operational plan.  Ensure the quality and maintainability of software and related work products.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.  Define and execute performance testing (as required).
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing systems specifications, standards and programming. 

Skills & qualifications 

Essential

• Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline 
• Advanced knowledge in information technology systems and ability to be effective across a variety of technical landscapes including, but not limited to C/C++, Angular, Python.
• Strong background in Linux tools and Linux Platforms.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with multiple deliverables.
• Able to mentor more junior team members.
• Support the second line team when needed.

Business Travel: Travels mainly to Gothenburg is required, and at least one trip to Australia.
