Data Warehouse Developer - Sydney

The main responsibility is to primary focus on documenting, interpreting and
configuring of data to be used in the data warehouse.

This includes:

• Designing, developing and maintaining the corporate data model,
•  identifying and documenting data sources, validating results and creating business reports
• Prepare plans for all extract/transform/load procedures and architectures, maintaining the meta data repository,
• monitoring and reporting on data quality and coordinating data reconciliation activities.
•  Designing, developing, monitoring and tuning data loads and queries
   troubleshooting causes of incompatibility between the various applications which collect and utilize the data.
•  Data visualization via the use of visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI.

The Key Accountabilities for this Position are:

•  Monitor the Azure Data Warehouse and Power BI systems
  performance and integrity, provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required.
• Creation and Management of systems alerts from Data Warehouse.
• Management of Azure Data Warehouse security.
• Management of data pipeline connectivity between Azure Data Warehouse and CFAP systems.
•  Management of Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Management of Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Creation and management of Power BI dashboards/reports.
• Monitoring and tuning data loads, queries and cubes.
• Create best practices for data loading and extraction.
• Develop data architecture, data modelling and ETL mapping.
• Maintain meta data and create/update relevant documentation.
