Cloud Solution Architect - Sydney CBD

The Cloud Security Architect will also be responsible for the proactive uplift of security capabilities across the business for existing and future Cloud projects.

This role will be based at our Sydney CBD office. You will join a project team and will also work with other teams across the business for additional support in the role.

Responsibilities

Core duties will include, but may not be limited to:

• Providing security subject matter expertise in the form of advice, design and implementation of security solutions for existing and future Cloud projects i.e. Azure (IaaS & PaaS), Power BI, O365, SharePoint Online, SaaS (ServiceNow, SAP), AI, mobility etc;
• Working with the cloud platform teams, develop cloud security architecture, assessing overall performance, vulnerabilities and risks;
• Identify security gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements; and
• Day to day duties involve working with Microsoft cloud solutions i.e. Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Cloud Application Security, Azure ATP, O365 ATP etc.

Skills

• Working knowledge of Azure Sentinel, Playbooks, Logic apps, Azure Security Center, DevSecOps, RBAC, PIM, PAM, Microsoft Defender ATP, Azure ATP, Azure Identity Protection, Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure Information Protection, MFA, Cloud Application Security, Gateway Security, Network Security Groups, Azure Application Gateway, Automation and Orchestration of Cybersecurity Operations, Privileged Access & Vulnerability Management, User Defined Routes/Azure Firewall.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD or DevSec Ops.
• Strong understanding of Azure and Microsoft 365 services and core features.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Intune and related Office 365 Admin Centres.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of the Australian Government's cyber security eco-system.

Successful Candidate will have:

• Australian Citizenship
• Tertiary qualification in Technology, Cyber Security, or related discipline, with proven experience in a similar Cyber Security role
• 5 years demonstrated experience designing and implementing security architectures in the context of cloud services.
• Experience across multiple security domains and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
• Understanding of DTA, ASD security guidelines.
• Relevant industry certifications, Security architecture (SABSA, TOGAF, COBIT), Security management (CISSP, CISM, GSIC).
• Security assurance/auditing (CISA, PCI QSA, CRISC, 27001 Lead Auditor, GSNA), ACS Cyber Security Professional
