The third test assignment included regression test management / testing related to upgrading all the Police's websites from EPiServer CMS 5 to EPiServer CMS 5 R2 SP2. Manijeh created the test plan, schedule and led the test work. She also did regression test with another test consultant and reported all deviations in Quality Center and another test tool based on SharePoint. Test status was presented once a week at CCB meetings. After completing the test work, she wrote the final report and presented it to the client. The test task was to ensure the quality of the system by performing system tests on the website and integration tests between the website and the databases.
The project methodology was Scrum, which is an agile framework for system development. This methodology made the work faster and more efficient by the customer being involved daily in the development work. The work was divided into smaller parts and carried out in three weeks long sprints.
Manijeh worked closely with the client, developers and project manager from the start of the project. In this way, the test work was performed much more flexible. She participated in all sprint planning and listened carefully to what was planned to be done in each sprint. She wrote test cases for each sprint based on the client's requirements. She had contact with the developers and found out what had been developed, in what way and what was ready for testing. Manijeh executed tests and reported deviations. At the end of each sprint, the team offered the client a sprint demo. The purpose was to find out what the client thought about the delivery, thus gathering any changes and new requirements. Manijeh updated the test cases with new requirements and re-ran the tests afterwards. Excel was used as a testing tool in this project.

She planned the test work by writing the test plan, test case and performed the test execution. Afterwards, Manijeh evaluated the quality of the system based on the test result. The evaluation was provided to the developers and project manager as statistics on the number of bugs and their severity. The purpose of the statistics was to increase the quality of the website before delivery to the customer for acceptance testing. Finally, she wrote a final report describing how the test work was conducted, deficiencies, improvement suggestions and recommendations. She used Team Foundation Server (TFS, Visual Studio) for error reporting and error handling.

She reviewed the requirements and did a risk analysis together with the client to prioritize development and testing functions. Manijeh wrote the test plan and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. She executed the tests according to the test cases and then supplemented with some exploratory tests (ad-hoc tests). She documented the results of the executed tests as deviation reports in Rational Quality Manager. A test report was then delivered to the client which provided insight into the quality of the system as a basis for acceptance decisions. It included, among the other things, an evaluation of the test result, lessons learned and recommendations.
