Introduction
My working areas are as a System, Storage and Project Manager, Systems Programmer, System Administrator and Storage Architect with primary focus on managing data storage on disk and tape for various enterprise customers.
I have strong competencies in working with configuring, consolidating and managing data storage and Storage Management products on Mainframe [z/OS] and Midrange [AIX, Linux and Windows] environments and related software products. This also this includes strong experience on IBM TSM.
Furthermore, I have strong experience with capacity planning, performance monitoring and forecasting to provide input to the budget. I have worked with follow-up on backup status on all system and application platforms, as well as performing restoring on all platforms at customer request.
A solid experience in analyzing requirements and develop proposals and designs for implementable solutions including defining and incorporating standards also constitutes as an important part of my skills, as well as having experience with second level support, problem management and problem solving, documentation, agreements, procedures, training material, roadmaps and workflows.
For many years, I have been working with evaluating, testing, recommending and implementing new data storage products in the IT infrastructure covering hardware, micro code and software products.
