and execution, first as a management consultant and most recently as operating and investment partner in venture

Head of Venture Development & Strategy, Director @ Maersk Growth 2019-2021 The venture capital arm of Maersk - a leading global supply chain venture investor.
● Role: Member of investment committee and in charge of all value creation and venture community and innovation activities, managing a team of 6 operations and innovation professionals.
● Results: ● Oversaw +50 value creation projects for portfolio, incl. new FTL platform w. Loadsmart, customer and partner introductions for Onomondo, business development for Ofload, Zigzag Afresh, and more.
● Deployed +$70M across +20 investments as part of the investment committee. The portfolio is now valued at above 4.0x TVPI with 4 exits to date.
● Set up experimentation and innovation team that executed on +20 experiments in collaboration with the Maersk organization, incl. rapid prototyping of Ocean product and regional product sprints.

● Role: Part of leadership team prioritizing and scoping our strategy engagements across all brands in Maersk.

● Results: Delivered on +20 projects across +15 countries, covering commercial excellence, operations excellence, M&A, strategy and transformation. Select projects include: ● Global diversification strategy, exploring winning business models and targets in range of industries, including logistics, road and air infrastructure and sustainability.
● Market strategy for Maersk's Chinese terminal business, incl. M&A landscape assessment and review of current operations in China, leading to roadmap of +20 initiatives across ComEx, OpEx and M&A ● Go-to-market strategy for Nigerian export customers. Full year market share target already met by end of Q1 resulting from strategy. Executed trainings to roll out across 25 countries.
● Operational optimization of warehouse portfolio, staffing and outsourcing approach across South-East Asia and oversaw initial implementation of approach in Vietnam and Indonesia.
● Financial and operational baselining of all key data points across portfolio of 70 deep sea terminals globally, leading to identification of significant optimization potential ● Holistic strategy for Maersk in China, guiding senior executives through series of workshops covering direct government engagements and all major business units
