I am in charge
to develop and implement the Company Business Assurance Controls Program, by ensuring the effectiveness of the Board Audit Committee decisions, advising the General Manager in some decision
making, driving the corporate Compliance strategy and promoting the Ethics culture transformation, in conjunction with the general Assurance controls program put in place by the Millicom Global Board
Team. I supervise the KYC & AML Program through the implementation of the Due Diligence corporate
strategy and program. I'm also in charge to ensure that the Corporate Affairs Department works in line with the company standards and policies, especially regarding the Government Interaction Policy. In
addition, as the Chief of investigation of the company, I perform investigations on non-compliance
allegation and review the Internal Audit outcomes as well as monitoring the effectiveness of the Internal Controls activities through the assessment of the company Entity Level Controls.

Key objectives and realisations:

• Facilitated the Millcom Chad Operation to be the only operation among Millicom
businesses to obtained the Recognition letter from Millicom Board in group level for
have implementing/achieving successfully the Ethics & Compliance Program in 2018;
• Conducted investigations on non-compliance allegations;
• Designed and implemented the local Speak up line and monitored this reporting tool
in order to be sure that it is functioning effectively;
• Contributed in the improvement of the company Due Diligence Programme
regarding recruitment and interaction with Suppliers, vendors, Agents, Third parties,
key customers and potential new Managers and Executive.
• Customised the local Business Assurance Controls Framework and implemented the Compliance and Anti-fraud Committee;
• Contributed in the writing and customization of corporate governance program
• Reviewed the Ethics and Compliance Program; Code of Ethics and related policies
such as Sponsorships and Political Donation, Gift and Hospitality, Conflict of Interest,
ABAC and AML, government interaction, etc.
• Supervise the Regulatory Compliance activity of the company regarding the billing
system, accounting recording, payment of some taxes, the respect of licences as well
as the HSE laws and regulations, etc.
• Designed and supervised the training and communication strategy and schedule
according to the ethics and compliance company program;

Review Process Handbook;

governance program of Eneo under the coordination of the project team members from the Ministry of water and energy of Cameroon.

As a visible result of my contribution we observed that number of allegations on the related matters
quietly decreased, and the quality and the sustainability of allegations are much better than for the
past ten years. Also both employees and business partners are aware of company values and code of
conduct and they know what to do when the face an improper behavior. This program helps the company to continuing improve his integrity, reliability and his profit too.
