Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

We are looking for a Data Engineer for Business Intelligence (changed from Business Intelligence Specialist), within Advanced Analytics & AI. Please note that it's only the role name that has been updated, the role description is the same.

Your task is to design and implement a reporting solution for a new product, using Microsoft Azure technologies. This includes leading the data collection from different sources (understanding data generation processes and defining data onboarding strategies)

Your main responsibilities include:
• Database modelling for analytics purposes, using best-practices from dimensional modelling, and leveraging techniques available from for example Azure SQL Datawarehouse
• Together with data engineers, and based on reporting requirements, design and implement data transfer pipelines using for example Azure Data Factory
• Plan data security according to reporting requirements

Your skills:
• You have experience with database modelling for data warehousing and reporting solutions
• You have experience with Microsoft Azure data-related services, such as Data Factory, SQL, SQL Datawarehouse
• You have worked with agile methodologies, and you plan and execute your work according to scrum principles.
• You have experience, and you are a specialist in at least one or more of the following tools: Azure SQL, Azure Data Warehouse, Data Factory
• Familiarity with Python is a plus
