Assignment Details

We are a leading independent third party Fund Management Company providing management company services to Luxembourg, Ireland and UK domiciled collective investment schemes in accordance with the respective regulations. Due to the expansion of the company, we have an opportunity for a Production Technician Support to join our team based in Limerick, Ireland.

 

 

Key Role Deliverables:

  • Analyse Business requirements and write Business and IT specifications.
  • Implement and maintain new IT systems and Business Applications.
  • Design and maintain data integration tools and processes.
  • Collect data incoming from various businesses and implement code to standardise data and data interfaces.
  • Design and implement various statistical and visualization tools to control the quality of the data.
  • Load data and provide datasets to various business units across multiple data processing platforms.
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation.


 

Experience:

  • Degree level
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Understanding of the Fund industry


 

Technical Knowledge/ Technical Capabilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as decision-making skills.
  • Develop a strategy to produce a robust set of Data interfacing, Data mapping, centralised data reporting and data scrubbing.
  • Able to work with CSV, XLX, XML, FIX file structures.
  • Data optimization.
  • Good knowledge of the Fund industry and typical data flows between TA/FA and custodian banks.
  • Experience in enterprise data management.
  • Ability to provide detailed analysis of problems and recommend solutions.
  • Databases, technology development, user acceptance testing.
  • Documentation of IT systems and Development of procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Internet technology such as FTP and SFTP.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Pentaho ETL platform and BI applications used to produce reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with Oracle 10g/11g
  • Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken – other languages considered as an advantage
  • Flexibility and ability to understand a complex environment

 

Skills:

Able to work with CSV, XLX, XML, FIX file structur, Data optimization., Experience with Oracle 10g/11g
