Maintenance Engineer

Our client is building products for the credit/information market, and are now looking for a Support and Maintenance Engineer/DevOps to expand their team short term. 

Purpose of the job: 
Support, maintain and perform tasks in scope of the ETL system used to manage data supplies for several big customers. Support the development team in their ongoing requests related to infrastructure. Take part in development and enhancement of growing infrastructure hosted on AWS. 

Key Responsibility 
• Support and maintain Data management ETL system 
• Revise and ensure data are stored and distributed in a secure manner 
• Automate maintenance processes 
• Improve and enhance existing CI/CD pipeline 
• Administer and improve existing AWS infrastructure 
• Ensure high reliability and availability of all the components of the system 

Competence & Skills 
• Linux Fundamentals and scripting 
• Basic DBMS management skills. Experience in SQL, Elasticsearch is much appreciated 
• Networking, TCP/IP understanding. Experience in network engineering 
• Analytical skills, research and problem-solving experience 
• Experience with major Amazon Services: EC2, S3, Route 53, VPC, ELB, EKS, ECR, MSK, 
• Extended experience in network security would be a plus 
• RDS, DynamoDB 
• Experience with Monitoring tools, Nagios, ELK 
• Experience with containerization using docker and orchestration using Kubernetes 
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline. Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD systems. 
• Experience with GitLab, TeamCity and Upsource would be a plus 
• Experience with Gradle scripting would be a great plus. 
• Experience with CM automation tools like Puppet, Chef and Ansible
