ERP Business Analyst - Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

Idealization Phase

• Work with business owner and architect to define business needs for a solution.
• Understand dependencies with other systems in terms of content, frequency, and method. Document and socialize approach with other teams.
• Lead calls with business owners and SMEs, to capture current state processes
• Document Current State Process Flows using Visio
• Review and obtain approval on Current State processes documentation.

Project Delivery Phase

• Lead calls with Business Owners, SMEs, Enterprise Architects to capture future state process flows.
• Document Future State Process Flows using Visio and obtain approval
• Document business rules and applicable business requirements, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and/or user stories.
• Document interface requirements with any dependent systems. Use agreed upon standards, such as JIRA/User Stories.
• Maintain engagement with stakeholders ensuring solution aligns with expectations.
• Ensure project personnel are up to a minimum level of competency with the change/new functionality and how it will be used.
• Participate in Agile Daily Standups and reporting on progress.
• Define and document any requirements for approved scope changes.
• Assist QA during the validation phase to confirm expected results.
• Engage business stakeholders to perform user acceptance testing.
• Assist with the development and validation of any training materials.

Pilot / Rollout / Post-Production Phases

• Understand dependencies with other systems in terms of content, frequency, and method. Document and socialize approach with other teams.
• Respond to questions and issues initiated by the stakeholder or user.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors
