Data Architect

Responsibilities and Duties

• This role is responsible for the architecture of the platform, driving the tool selection, preparing the configuration, designing the data pipeline, implementing data analytics best-practices, and coaching the data analytics team.
  * Specific tasks include:
• Architect and configure a data analytics platform using Amazon Redshift
• Design logical and physical data models
•  Design data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Alteryx and Talend
•  Strong Tableau Server and AWS system administration experience
• Serve as the primary contact for the customer engagement
• Oversee work done be the other team members, including coordinating offshore team activities
• Work in collaboration with the organization to understand business issues, identify valuable areas of analysis and develop reports that analyze data warehouse information to support effective rapid decision making.
• Develop and support QA processes for our BI solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have strong experience on Tableau Server and Amazon Redshift system administration
•  Hands-on knowledge as well as strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
•  Experience with Alteryx and Talend is preferred
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills and client stakeholder management.
• Ability to effectively work in team environment with multiple skill set levels.
• Experience working with and managing Offshore teams.
