Zusammenfassung

Bachelor in programming and network from UiO and a Master's degree in software engineering. Great interest in technology and software development. Proficient in multiple programming languages. ISTQB certified tester. Experience of working in the retail industry.

Three years of experience working as a software developer (part and
full-time). In my short time as a developer, I have collaborated with three different customers and teams. This journey has taught me a substantial amount of foreign technology and best working practices. My main goal is to bring forth everything I've seen as effective and challenge existing norms and practices.

Oslo, Norway When I started my work at KDI I was placed in the completely fresh "SaaS Tools"-team. This team, consisting of me and two other developers was formed iteratively as we continued working. We quickly found our spot in Twin- ecosystem and started producing valuable features for our customers. In short, our responsibility was to create new components that would increase the rate of self-service in the Twin. Empowering our customers, creating context of user data, and making the lives of the developers at KDI much easier. The SaaS Tools team went through many changes, but I have been working here since the very beginning. As such, as the only developer left from the early stages, I have acquired quite a lot of knowledge regarding our product. I use this knowledge to steer our product the correct way, whilst also sharing as much as possible with my colleagues.
We organized our work in Azure DevOps. I worked full-stack with an AngularJS frontend and Node.js backend (REST API). Also worked closely with our MongoDB (NoSQL) database and Azure for cloud operations. Our designers used created designs in Figma, which we had the responsibility to implement. I also find myself spending a lot of time refactoring and documenting existing code to make it more maintainable and scalable - as I find this quite important for a company to grow.
In addition, I have attended multiple student events around Norway (Trondheim and Stavanger), where I have talked to students about our product and promoted KDI in general. I was also in charge of speed interviews at one of these events, where I interviewed 10+ students for summer jobs/graduate positions. Furthermore, on other occasions, I have also conducted more in- depth and longer interviews for full-time positions.

Norway Started my first fulltime gig as a frontend developer at a leading insurance company in western Europe. My tasks were to maintain and create new features for one of the company's products. Being the only frontend developer on the team there was naturally a great deal of responsibility. I worked closely with our tester, designer and project owner to create the best possible product.
The first period of my journey here started with refactoring the existing codebase to make it more scalable, readable and maintainable. Also, I made it one of my top priorities to convert the codebase from standard React JS to React with TypeScript. The project owner and everyone involved was excited with the solutions I put forth. When there was a shortage of work I dipped into the .NET realm with our F# backend and Microsoft SQL Server. Our application was hosted on Azure which gave me new areas of knowledge.
In addition, I've also participated in Itera's summer internship recruitment campaign. During this campaign I interviewed and evaluated candidates according to Itera's values.

Oslo Area, Norway Worked full-stack part-time for one of the largest Nordic banks. Spent time on many different products ("form solutions ") with a large team. However, most of my time was spent on the car and consumer loan product. Also, we created and maintained a component library to be used within the bank.
My job duties would differ from bug fixing, refactoring and to creating new features. In the frontend we used React with TypeScript and Java with Spring Boot in the backend.

Oslo Area, Norway Spent a summer interning at a large Norwegian bank. Research indicated that many customers had problems stretching their salary for the entire month.
Therefore, the bank naturally wanted an application to help its customers with their economy. The bank was thrilled and excited by the application we created.
On this project, I worked mostly backend with Java. The main challenge was to integrate towards the bank's PSD2 API. Also, I maintained a NoSQL database (MongoDB) with the help of existing architecture.
