Advania is a leading Nordic IT provider that customizes deliveries of services and products to thousands of
corporate customers in the public and private sectors. Advania has over 1,300 employees in 22 locations in Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
With a small HR team of three my role as HRBP is broad expanding beyond the Talent Management cycle including
both strategic and operational work. In my role I work actively in partnership with the managers supporting and coaching them in people related matters, leadership development and ensuring competence building, talent
management and succession planning relevant for business needs and goals.
Some of my responsibilities are:
● Learning & Development Manager: New launch of Advania Academy. Implementation of a new LMS.
Setting up the structure, including branding, programs, learning modules and educating managers and employees
● Talent Management: Responsible for attracting, hiring and developing talent. Strategic talent- planning
with management in order to achieve business goals. Succession planning. Recruitment including
performance & personality testing. Around 120 recruits per year
● Drives strategic and operational HR initiatives
● Coaching managers on employee issues, assisting in identifying and resolving
● Program Manager for Referral-, Diversity- & Trainee program
● Labor Law & Employee benefits
● System Owner for our ATS & LMS
● Employer Branding
● Employee Engagement Surveys
● Work Environment
● Internal training for both managers and employees
● Daily support towards managers and employees
● Onboarding and offboarding: responsible for the process. Automating both through Service Now
● Implements continuous improvement
● HR Analytics
Results: New ATS in place, new LMS about to be launched Q4 2018, internal and external diversity initiatives with focus on getting more women to work in tech. Almost double amount of new hires from 2017 to 2018 (111).
Named one of Sweden's top 50 tech recruiters. Article- Why gender equality in Tech is beneficial. Successfully
arranged an external event at Scalateatern for 550 people addressing diversity in a Livepodd and a panel debate.
