My role as a backed developer involved maintaining and developing the payments platform. Payments are the foundation of Qliro services. Communication with merchants and payment providers is essential for the business as a whole.
I was highly involved in advocating technical improvements and processes. This is in order to adhere to the cloud migration strategy that was declared by Qliro.

As an Engineering Manager and Product Owner at Bricknode, my responsibility is to support the engineering team without losing the focus on the product. Being the link between the business and tech. Supporting the company's long-term goals to deliver long-term value but also have an eye on the shorts term solution that makes life easier for our customers.

I spent ~6 years at Unite Group building and designing a peer-to-peer and self-managed lending platform from scratch.
I also had the pleasure to recruit and build a great and high-performing development team. Grew from 2 people (with myself included) to 14 highly competent and wonderful developers within a couple of years.
We launched our own services but also external customers on the platform and created a robust platform that was later acquired by Bricknode.

At Lendytech I started off as a Fullstack developer, well I was the only developer so full-stack came naturally. I worked with a broad stack of tasks including anything from front-end, to back-end, digital marketing campaigns, and project management. I was highly involved with the decision-making and got a broad understanding of how to analyze business, gather requirements, and translate these into working tech solutions.
I also maintained and developed the current legacy solution which would become the blueprint for a next-gen lending platform. The legacy solution was developed using .NET WebForms backed by an MSSQL database.
