HR Manager BU Parcel
PostNord Sverige AB

2020-05 - 2023-08

I commenced my role during the pandemic with the objective of building a world-class HR function in collaboration with colleagues. Our goal was to digitize and automate HR processes while elevating the importance of HR on the agendas of various executive teams. I was a member of four different executive teams and provided coaching to approximately 50 managers at different levels. My teams consisted of 3 to 7 direct reports.
During my first year, we divested the Air & Ocean business, where I served as the HR lead in the due diligence and sales processes. Additionally, I actively participated in steering- and operational groups in significant organizational downsizing initiatives.
This included playing a crucial role in the implementation of one of the largest workforce reductions in the history of PostNord.
I was involved from organizational strategy and design to practical implementation, where we reduced the administrative workforce by 25%. In addition to the above, my responsibilities encompassed managing labor relations, addressing employment law matters, handling workplace safety issues, and creating/implementing new HR processes and procedures on a daily basis.
Furthermore, I played a key role in the operational steering group for the implementation of SAP Success Factors as a new HR system, which was part of a comprehensive four-part transformation program covering HR systems, payroll, time and attendance, and the establishment of an HR Shared Service.
Experiences: Executive coaching, HR transformation, HR strategy and execution, downsizing/rightsizing, CBA negotiations, trade union collaboration
Acting VP HR, IMO and HRBP
Evry Sverige AB

2018-01 - 2020-04

At Evry, I started as an interim senior HR Business Partner, serving as the HR lead for one of the largest acquisitions valued at 700 million SEK--the acquisition of Bankgirot. I also provided support to Nordic managers in both strategic and operational HR matters, always closely aligned with the business. Subsequently, I assumed the role of Acting VP HR Sweden, with a primary focus on ensuring that HR strategies and activities aligned with the company's objectives. I led a team of three HR Business Partners. During my tenure as VP HR, we merged with Tieto, and I played a significant role in both the practical and cultural integration efforts. The aim was to become the largest Nordic player in digital services and software, boasting around 24,000 employees and a turnover of €3 billion.
Experiences: Due Diligence, M&A, HR transformation, coaching, integration project, operational HR leadership
HR Manager Northern Europe
BMW Financial Services

2013-06 - 2017-12

As the HR Manager, my team and I were responsible for creating and implementing all relevant HR processes for the entire Northern Europe region, including Talent Acquisition, performance management, and compensation & benefits. In this role, I reported to the CFO and the European HR Director. Setting a vision and HR strategy aligned with the company's goals was also within the scope of my responsibilities.
HR Manager, HR Lead
Unilever

2009-09 - 2013-05

I was hired as the HR Manager to lead the entire Finnish Sales and Marketing organization, the Nordic Brand Building organization, and the entire Nordic Supply Chain. I actively participated in all the mentioned executive teams. Unilever is a company with a clear performance culture, where HR holds a prominent position in all executive discussions. Additionally, I had the privilege of being the HR Lead in the acquisition of a significant Finnish family business, Ingman Ice cream, a deal worth €70 million with 700 employees across the Nordic region, Baltic States, and Belarus. As a member of the steering committee, I led a team of two HR Business Partners in executing Due Diligence, integration, and culture transformation.

DHL Express

2007-02 - 2009-08

I was hired as an HR Business Partner for the Swedish Sales and Customer Service organization, overseeing approximately 470 employees and participating in its leadership team. Concurrently, I held overall responsibility for Compensation and Benefits in Sweden. I was later promoted to HR Manager, leading a team of five HR Business Partners with collective responsibility for the entire HRBP function in Sweden, covering 3,500 employees. This marked my first managerial role, which proved to be highly rewarding as I applied the principles I had coached other managers on for years. In addition to daily coaching, labor negotiations, and the implementation of our HR strategy, we introduced a job evaluation system and rolled out annual employee surveys. I was honored with the title of "Can Do Hero" in entrepreneurship, one of DHL's core values.
