Summary
For most of my career I have been working in teams. I like the close
cooperation with other people and the intensity of working towards a
common goal. From an early point I have worked as project manager,
team lead or architect, where I have enjoyed the responsibility of making
ends meet in terms of budget, scope and time.
This includes checking in with the other team members to ensure they are
happy, focused and making progress. If not, then identify and remove any
impediments and take corrective action.
Another stakeholder that needs to be kept in the loop is the business or
product owners. This often requires bridging the gap between business
and IT people. Technical insight and an emphatic approach are my way of
addressing this task. Creating a safe space where all concerns can be safely
aired will shed light on relevant subjects and keep communication
flowing.
In the end, we need to deliver maximum value as early as possible to
make the effort a successful one.
