For the past 5 month of 2023 I have had the pleasure of having Maibritt support my team and our close collaboration with another business unit in our organization. Project description:
- Developing an RPA (robotic process automation) on GxP Environmental Monitoring for site Kalundborg, Site Chartres, and Site Bagsværd
- Environmental sampling is a heavy manual process where environmental specialists at the site must check if the environmental samples have been taken at the right time and right place. This is done by cross-checking several systems.
- The project was initially a one site solution but developed into RPAs for 3 sites, which involved process alignment across sites to minimize the customization of the digital solution

- RPA that collected all relevant data from several systems and pre-checked if the data was correct according to designed business rules.

- RPA to ensure data are uploaded in the EU Monitoring System
- Novo Nordisk must upload release data for insulin pens into the EU Monitoring System to be allowed to sell pens from pharmacies across EU. The data upload is automated but can fail, thus making monitoring required. The project built an RPA solution replacing manual monitoring.
Responsibilities/deliverables:
- Stakeholder management especially with the offshore unit of Novo Nordisk, as they had the insight on the process but also the risk of losing a task.
- Ensuring correct mapping of the process involving inputs from Global Process Owners and from daily operation at the offshored unit in India.
