Jonas resolved it in this way: Jonas was deeply involved in defining functions, processes, and Master Data management within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring smooth integration with other systems. He was deeply involved in the investigation of how to migrate existing ERP Master Data for suppliers into SAP S/4HANA, working closely with IT and business operations teams to ensure the processes and data were aligned. The project spanned several years and required extensive coordination across multiple teams.


 

Jonas resolved it in this way: He contributed to the team by evaluating and selecting appropriate systems and processes to meet the project’s goals. His work included the development of a web-based postage optimization system, which used complex algorithms to identify the cheapest postage options while adhering to the different postal operator requirements for maximum discounts. This system also managed customer postal agreements, delivery areas, prices, and rules, while reporting to the ERP system for control and order management. Jonas also developed a web-based archiving system for the reprinting of customer files, including the conversion of various file formats (AFP, AFPDS, Linedata, PostScript, PCL to PDF & AFP). Additionally, he participated in the development of a camera system for monitoring and logging all shipments (ADF solution) and was involved in the insourcing of approximately 2,000 different applications, including system integration with MVS & AS400 spool systems and IBM's InfoPrint Manager.


 

The results from Jonas’s work were that the mailroom standardization project was successfully implemented across multiple countries in Europe, leading to optimized postage costs and more efficient mailroom operations.
