He is a person who easily can handle new situations, environments and people. He get fast into new roles and delivers independently and with quality with short rampup time. Carsten takes pride in delivering the required result with quality and time, in a good and sustainable way that takes care of the organisation and people involved.

Carsten has deep skills in digital transformation, large scale re-architecture to enable increase value output and faster time to market, agile transformation where companies restructure the IT delivery capability from traditional service setup to a more lean and effective delivery models based on agile and devops.

Accountable for the IT delivery for the core business IT systems supporting production of parcels- and letter services in Postnord, including responsibility for technical platforms for integrations, CI/CD, test automation and application containers. Enabling new business development and optimization of the core business in the company. Vendor responsibility for relevant suppliers. Member of Group IT Leadership team and reporting to CIO. Staff responsibility for 30 employees and 300+ consultants in 30 agile teams and managed services. Budget approx. 300 MSEK.
* Co-sponsor for a large application transformation program for the IT solutions supporting production in Postnord. Transforming legacy monolithic systems into a cloud based and event driven architecture. Program budget 500 MSEK, calculated net effects 100 MSEK.
* Responsible director for sourcing- and implementation project of strategic application supplier for Postnord with contract value of 750 MSEK/5 years and implementation scope of 28 Agile teams, 23 managed services objects, 24/7 support and service management setup, vendor governance model.
* Significant stabilisation of the in scope IT environment with approx. 50% reduction of critical incidents and reduced recovery time.
