(2000-2005) where I led the European Professional Community on Data Warehousing. In May 2005 I joined the first Boeing R&D center out of the USA (Boeing Research & Technology Europe).
My research interests include advanced computing in data analysis, cyber security and human machine interfaces. I am co-inventor in 20 patents (16 granted).
I have tons of experience in the area of ICT Project Management as well as in Data Engineering. In the Data Analytics field I led projects for a variety of industries (Defense, Banking, Healthcare, Transport ) and processes (finance, logistics, maintenance, supply chain ).
Currently at Boeing I support from an architecture point of view all Data Driven based research projects across the global R&D organization. I support too the product development team for real time data analytics services for airlines (Spark on Azure Databricks) As an aside task I mentor the Data Engineering programs of the University of Chicago as part of GlobalAlumni company.
